Amy Oraefo is a seasoned entertainment attorney, global legal consultant, and passionate advocate for creatives, entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders. As the founder of Amy Oraefo, P.C., she leads a boutique law firm dedicated to empowering musicians, music producers, podcasters, content creators, athletes, media and tech startups, and hospitality brands.
With more than a decade of experience representing high-performing creatives and entrepreneurs and negotiating multi-million dollar deals, Amy is known for her precision, cultural fluency, and tireless commitment to client success. Her legal work has supported notable clients and deals with brands including, but not limited to, iHeart Media, Meta, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Empire, UnitedMasters, Puma, Square, Viacom, L’Oréal, NFLPA, and more.
Amy has served as legal counsel to prominent figures and brands both nationally and internationally. She combines top-tier legal strategy with a deep understanding of the entertainment and startup ecosystems.
In addition to running AOPC Law Firm, Amy is an Adjunct Professor and an active member of the Recording Academy. She currently serves on the Reggae and Global Membership Committee and has previously served on the Academy’s Board of Governors. Drawing from her roots as a co-founder and CEO of a music publishing company, she continues to advocate for musicians, producers, and creatives in the U.S. and internationally.
Amy is also the founder of Creative Passport, a global platform for educating and empowering emerging musicians, producers, podcasters, and content creators, with a special focus on the U.S. and African markets.
